Bruce P. Darata, MAI, CIAO
Wheatland Township Assessor
Bruce Darata has lived in Wheatland Township for over twenty-one years. He and his wife live in Aurora and have two grown children. Bruce has extensive valuation experience, serving as an alternate board of review member in Kane and DuPage Counties. In addition, he serves as the Deputy Assessor in Geneva Township. He joined his family appraising business full time in 2009 and has owned and operated it since 2013. He is a past president of the Appraisal Institute and holds a Certified General Real State Appraiser license. In addition, he holds the MAI and CIAO designations. As a Rotary member, he is passionate about public service and seeks to maintain uniform and fair assessments in the township.
